A full list of Nielsen measured viewership of nationally televised games during the 2025-26 NBA season.
With college football season basically over, its time to start focusing more on NBA viewership. Throughout the 2025-26 NBA season, this page will track viewership for every nationally televised NBA game on ABC, NBC, ESPN and Prime Video.
NBA games also air nationally on Peacock and NBA TV. Peacock games are not tracked by Nielsen and will not be included here. NBA TV games are blacked out in local markets and are therefore also not included here.
Additionally, Nielsen does not track streaming viewership for games on NBC. For games on NBC, the Nielsen only television number and the added Adobe streaming number, when available, will be shown. You can decide whether you trust the Adobe number. Also, outside of Opening Night, the Tuesday games record Nielsen viewership for both games as one viewership window. I’m not totally sure how Adobe handles that.
Finally, for ESPN, I have also included the panel viewership number. This year, Nielsen shifted to Big Data, which adds additional viewership metrics from Smart TVs and set top boxes. When comparing viewership from last year, that is important to note.
Please note that data for Prime Video is harder to get than for the other networks and is incomplete.
